Your comfort, privacy, and consent are important throughout your session. Before your first massage therapy session, you will complete an intake and consultation form. Please provide complete and accurate information regarding relevant health conditions, medications, injuries, recent procedures, allergies, pregnancy, or other circumstances that could affect your session. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consent is ongoing throughout your session.
If at any point you experience pain, discomfort, anxiety, or simply do not want a particular technique or area treated, please tell your therapist.
Pressure, positioning, techniques, or areas being treated can be modified at any time.
You may also ask to stop the session at any time.
Your therapist likewise reserves the right to modify, postpone, or discontinue a session when there is a health, safety, professional-boundary, or other appropriate concern.
Professional draping is used during massage therapy to protect your comfort and privacy.
The genital area and gluteal cleavage remain draped throughout the session. Female clients' breasts are appropriately draped.
Only the area being treated will be uncovered.
Massage therapy is strictly professional and therapeutic. Sexual comments, requests, gestures, exposure, or inappropriate physical contact will not be tolerated.
If inappropriate or sexual conduct occurs, the session will be terminated.
Clients under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving massage therapy.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the client's age, requested service, or circumstances.
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Massage therapists do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform chiropractic adjustments. Depending on your health history or the service requested, medical clearance may be required before treatment. If treatment is terminated due to patint's inappropriate or sexual conduct occurrence, the session will be terminated, and payment for the scheduled appointment will still be required in full.
